La Charretterie - inside and outside

Under the Charretterie there's a table tennis table, barbecue  and garden  furniture. Fresh croissants can be fetched from the bakery at Fontaine-le-Dun (Houdetot is too small to have a shop).

The garden is nice and secluded for barbecues and sunbathing

We get very fond of the cows and miss them when they are put indoors at the farm for the winter months.

The open-plan kitchenette has microwave oven, conventional oven, dishwasher, fridge and storage space for food etc.

The first bedroom, with a double bed.

The end bedroom with a double bed and a single.

The dining/sitting room is light and airy. We have a satellite TV (and DVD with plenty of films). There are electric radiators throughout, but it's great on a cold day to light up the oldfashioned woodburner and get thoroughly cosy. There's a sofa as well as the armchairs.

Corridor leading to the two bedrooms.

The coast of the Pays de Caux is beautiful, whatever the weather!

Time to find a beachside café or a seafood restaurant for the evening.
